Struga is a city and center of the same name that lies in the southwestern part of North Macedonia. The city lies on the northern shores of Lake Ohrid. Ohrid’s biggest attraction is its lake. Among the oldest and deepest in Europe , it attracts not only vacationers but also sportsmen, fishermen and scientists. From the castle there is an incredible view over the city, the lake and the surrounding mountains. The cults towards saint Naum revered particularly in the region of Ohrid. It spread in the first half of the 18th century with the development of Moscopole as a center of Orthodox culture and with the development of the Archbishopric of Ohrid.
